Schedule

During the summer months of June, July, August we have a special summer schedule running (see below). The morning classes continue as usual throughout the summer (with the exception of special temporary schedule changes which are listed under the schedule). The autumn schedule starts on 1 September and will be published here in due time.

Mysore classes are held in person at the shala AND online via Zoom. If you’re interested in online participation please read more here. We don’t teach on full/new moon (only beginner’s courses continue as scheduled). Beginners should attend a course before coming to Mysore class. For a detailed description of our classes see the our class descriptions.

The shala opens 15 min before class and you have access to the premises then. On Sundays and public holidays we open at 08:30. All classes are drop-in except for beginners courses and workshops which require pre-registration (detailed information about upcoming courses can be cound here). The latest drop-in is 60min before the end of class. Please start your finishing sequence at latest with 20 minutes to go so that you can be finished and showered/changed when the class time is over. On weekdays existing cardholders may come for self-practice (unassisted) after the Mysore class in case you over sleep or had to work late.

One Friday and one Sunday a month Mysore class is replaced by a guided FULL primary series class. The class suits all levels except complete beginners, BUT please be on time (no entry after class has begun). On Sundays after the guided class we gather for tea&talk, a 30min Q&A session where we discuss a yoga related topic. All dates for guided class are listed in the overview schedule.

You need a code to enter the building, therefore we ask you contact us before you come to practice the first time. Our address with a map to our location is found on the contact page. For everybody’s comfort please observe the shala guidelines and our special Covid19 regulations when you come to practice.

JUNE

SUNDAY 6 JUNE it’s guided Primary series class at 9am. No Mysore class this day. After the class, the summer course in Pranayama / breathing exercises starts (read more here). Tea & talk is cancelled.

THURSDAY 10 JUNE is new moon – we take a break from teaching and practicing.

FRIDAY 18 JUNE it’s guided Primary series class at 06.30. No Mysore class this day.

THURSDAY 24 JUNE is full moon – we take a break from teaching and practicing.

FRIDAY 25 JUNE (Midsummer’s Eve) through SUNDAY 27 JUNE we are closed.


JULY

All “moon-days” in July fall on Saturdays in July, no interruptions due to full/new moon.

SATURDAY 3 JULY Isabella visits Yoga by the Sea in Mölle for a full day workshop. Read more here.

SUNDAY 11 JULY - NB! Printing error in schedule. There's Mysore class this day at 9-11 (guided class was on 4/7).

FRIDAY 23 Mysore 6:15-8:45 instead of guided Primary series class.

THURSDAY 29 + FRIDAY 30 JULY Helena Frentzell covers Morning Mysore class. No online yoga via Zoom on these days.


AUGUST

SUNDAY 1 AUGUST Helena Frentzell covers Morning Mysore class. No online yoga via Zoom this day.

SUNDAY 8 AUGUST is new moon – we take a break from teaching and practicing.

SUNDAY 15 AUGUST it’s guided Primary series class at 9am. No Mysore class this day. Pranayama course after class. Tea & Talk is cancelled.

FRIDAY 20 AUGUST (evening) through SUNDAY 22 AUGUST guest teacher Tim Feldmann visits our shala (read more here). The Sunday is full moon and the regular Mysore class is cancelled but replaced by Tim’s workshop. Pre-registration required.

FRIDAY 27 AUGUST it’s guided Primary series class at 06.30. No Mysore class this day.

SUNDAY 29 + MONDAY 30 AUGUST Helena Frentzell covers Morning Mysore class. No online yoga via Zoom on these days.

SUNDAY 29 AUGUST at 2pm Ashtanga Yoga Malmö participates at the Malmö Yoga Festival at Ribban (see the events calendar)
