Yin yoga is a calm and relaxing type of yoga where you give yourself time to "just be". We let go of all performance, expectation or the impulse to "do" something and practice being in the moment and to feel the body.

In yin yoga, each position is entered with the assistance of gravity and together with a focus on breathing; we help our muscles to relax. We stay in each position for about 3-5 minutes: in this way, the connective tissue/fascia that holds all the body's organs and muscles together is stimulated and stretched.

Yin yoga is a good complement to other physical activity such as running or more dynamic yoga styles, and is particularly suitable if you feel stiff. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience!

Time: Thursdays at 17:30 – 18:45 starting on 29/1-2026 a total of 8 sessions (with a break during the winter holidays)

Price: tbc (existing members can use their membership/clip card to attend the course or drop-in, but prior registration via Medborgarskolan is required)
