Special class in asana & breath technique
Ashtanga Yoga Malmö
This class is part of a "mini-immersion series" taking place on three separate occasions in the autumn of 2024 (Sundays after Mysore class). Participants get a chance to dive deeper into the technique of individual asanas, understand the logic behind the sequences in ashtanga yoga, explore different breath and mobility exercises, and get advice on how to best to build strength and stability and/or get answers to other practical questions.
Each class has a special theme that strives to give the participants inspiration and new insights into the physical part of the yoga practice. We explore and do yoga-asana in a playful way with the goal of deepening the participants' understanding and knowledge of the function and basic principles of various asanas. The theme of the first session is “breath & bandha”.
The classes contain both easier and more advanced exercises and are open to all levels of yoga practitioners except complete beginners. One can take part in individual classes, but attending all three occasions will be the most beneficial.
