We are very honoured to welcome Martin Gansten, associate professor at the Department for Theology and Religious Studies at Lund University, to give a lecture at tea&talk on 29/1-2023. The theme  is "Sanskrit and yoga from a historical perspective". The participants get an introduction to the classical language Sanskrit, in which the majority of important yoga texts are written. Martin explains why knowledge of the language is of interest to those who practice yoga and why it is important for the development of our daily practice. The lecture is interactive and participants are introduced to basic skills in pronunciation and writing.

The lecture is given in Swedish and is free of charge for our practitioners who use their membership/clip card. Current card holders do not need to register in advance. Outsiders who wish to participate pay a drop-in price of SEK 175 and need to register beforehand through our partner Medborgarskolan (click the link ). To read more about the event please switch to the Swedish version of this website (click on the flag in the upper right corner). If you have any questions, please contact us.
